Real-Time Synchronization Monitoring for Critical Power Networks
Ensure timing integrity and reliable operation in digital substations with continuous, real-time visibility into synchronization performance, timing accuracy and potential GNSS threats.
The Quazar System from BitStream combines the Quazar-700 measurement probe with the QuazarNet centralized monitoring and analysis platform to provide continuous visibility into synchronization across critical power networks.
Designed for digital substations and other mission-critical infrastructure, Quazar combines independent measurement probes with centralized monitoring and analysis. It continuously monitors PTPv2 and SyncE synchronization, measures critical parameters such as Time Error (TE), MTIE and TDEV, and helps operators identify synchronization problems before they develop into service-impacting failures.
With GNSS spoofing and jamming detection, real-time dashboards, configurable alerts, event correlation and synchronization topology visualization, Quazar gives operators the situational awareness needed to locate faults and accelerate root cause analysis.
From continuous operational monitoring to FAT/SAT testing and portable diagnostics, Quazar helps maintain stable, secure and deterministic synchronization in modern power infrastructure while supporting IEC 61850-9-3 and IEEE C37.238 environments.
