Meet us at Cigré SC D2 Colloquium in Helsinki on 11-14 June

Welcome to meet DNWP during the most beautiful season in the capital of Finland next summer as the CIGRE Study Committee D2 Colloquium 2019 takes place in Helsinki on 11-14 June, 2019. Registration for the event is now open at the Colloquium website.

The SC D2 Colloquium in Helsinki is a unique opportunity for competence development concerning the actual and novel topics in information systems and telecommunications, especially within the energy sector.

The Colloquium brings together the key players of information systems and telecommunication for the electric power industry: business leaders, system operators, manufacturers, engineers, policy makers, regulators and academics. This makes it a forum to share exciting new research, to raise issues and awareness, to discuss future directions, and to network with leading professionals.

The preferential subjects of the SC D2 Colloquium in Helsinki are:

  • Information and communication technology (ICT) supporting energy transition
  • Cyber security
  • New internet of things (IoT) application to support electric power utilities


DNWP is widely present at the Colloquium

The D2 Colloquium welcome reception takes place on Tuesday evening, 11 June; presentation sessions and a technical exhibition with industry related products and services commands on Wednesday and Thursday, 12–13 June; and a technical excursion is arranged on Friday, 14 June.

The DNWP critical communications technologies are on display at the official Colloquium technical exhibition throughout the event. Drop by to discuss with competent DNWP sales personnel during the technical exhibition on Wednesday and Thursday, 12–13 June.

A DNWP study over “Cyber security in MPLS-TP networks” by Antti Viro, Director, Product Management at DNWP and Janne Suomalainen, Product Manager, MPLS-TP at DNWP is presented in the official Colloquium sessions. More precise date and time of the presentation will be announced later.
